The Canadian based company has chosen Alsace as the site of its French headquarters in collaboration with the Agence d’Attractivité de l’Alsace (AAA)

Strasbourg, France - February 20, 2015 - Crescendo Systems, the Canadian leader in software solutions for document management, today announced the opening of its subsidiary in Strasbourg to meet the needs of a changing European market. After strong growth in North America and the opening of offices in London and Hamburg, Crescendo Systems will launch its newest office in Europe.

For a quarter of a century, Crescendo Systems has helped hospitals and clinics around the world to transform document production into a value added activity. The software is based on advanced technologies that enhance communication, productivity and synchronization of doctors and nurses without disrupting their work habits.

With the support of the Agence d’Attractivité de l’Alsace (AAA), the business development agency for the Alsace region, Crescendo Systems chose Strasbourg for its strategic position in the heart of French and German speaking Europe. This positioning will allow Crescendo to better serve its French, German, Belgian and Swiss customers, while accentuating growth in these markets. "Strasbourg also represents a multilingual and highly skilled labor pool," states Costa Mandilaras, President and co-founder of Crescendo Systems, which provides for the creation of twenty jobs over the next three years.

"With this new subsidiary established at the crossroads of European markets, we can provide an effective and sustainable response to the growing demands from hospitals and clinics for advanced document technology," adds Mandilaras. "At a time when hospitals aim to move away from paper documents in order to simplify and accelerate their report production, our software solutions provide an effortless and profitable transition to the era of digital." By bringing together the best in streaming technology, voice recognition, handwriting recognition, digital and biometric signature and structured documentation, Crescendo offers a unique range of productivity tools: tools that enable the entire healthcare team to share in the process of document creation, to act and react quickly, anywhere and at any time, regardless of the digital medium.”

André Reichardt, Vice President Chairman of the Agence d’Attractivité de l’Alsace (AAA), who had already met with the company at its Canadian headquarters at a regional mission in October 2012 "welcomes the establishment of Crescendo in Alsace, which will allow its Alsatian customers to gain a competitive advantage. We are particularly proud to have been able to convince a technology company of this size to choose Alsace as new land for growth: in addition to strengthening our special relationship with the province of Quebec, this economic development demonstrates the attractiveness of our region as a European development stage for North American companies.”
