Automatic voice file upload


Once your dictation is complete and your Pocket PC is docked, the system automatically uploads dictations to the central server for transcription without any user intervention.

Wireless upload, scheduling and ER management

When integrated with a Hospital Information System (HIS), scheduling system and wireless network, DigiDictate-CE takes dictation efficiency one step further by downloading the following data directly onto the physician's Portable Windows CE device:

  • Daily patient listings
  • Bed locations, patient row, etc.
  • Schedule of activities

To start a dictation, the physician simply selects the patient's name on the DigiDictate-CE screen. Once the dictation complete, the signed-off voice file is immediately made available for transcription or speech recognition, together with up-to-date patient status and other critical information. This ability to constantly re-populate demographics eliminates manual entry on the transcription side, ensuring data is always up-to-date and reliable as supplied by the medical facility's database.

You can record up to eight hours of voice (optional storage supported) and get constant notification on remaining space. The system also allows voice files uploads from other systems and supports bar code scanner for automatic input of demographic information.
