Crescendo launches web-based platform for data access, editing, playback, delivery and distribution

Laval, Quebec, April 28, 2005 - Crescendo today announced the availability of iAdmin, the third component of its popular ASP .NET iPlatform series. The web-based application provides transcription services and Application Service Providers with an alternative, low cost method for data access, editing, playback, delivery and distribution of their work in real-time, from any location, using one single interface. Typical users for the iAdmin application are Transcription Supervisors, Clerks, Clients' support and Quality Control personnel.

Anytime, anywhere document management: promise delivered
In line with other iPlatform Series components, iAdmin uses the latest connectivity solutions to further simplify the workflow management of professional documentation. Operating on Active Server Pages (ASP) and developed on the Microsoft .NET platform, iAdmin allows users to share information with customers and partners easily and securely across various operating systems and hardware devices. No need to install and run heavy, back-end applications at customers' offices anymore.

Integrated, secure voice and data access
The iAdmin integrated Master View allows users to search for reports while listening to their associated voice files in real-time from their Windows Media Player thanks to the use of voice streaming technology. This unique Crescendo technology also eliminates duplication of files, thereby ensuring increased reliability of data while preventing offline data aging and guaranteeing access to consistent, up-to-date information at all times.

Once a report is located in the Master View, it can be edited directly in Microsoft Word and delivered through print, fax, or e-mail. These functions can be restricted on a per user basis or on a Facility, Department, or Work Type level, providing organizations with the flexibility for controlling delivery of sensitive information.
