Advance Cardiology selects Crescendo

Laval, Quebec, 7 February 2008 - Crescendo announced today that Advanced Cardiology, Inc., a regional medical practice that serves the cities of Poland, OH and New Castle, PA, and works in affiliation with hospitals in its respective vicinities, is in the process of implementing an integrated report creation and management platform.

A DigiScribe-XL telephone dictation system allows cardiologists to dictate from standard or mobile phones, thereby meeting their mobility requirements. On the transcription side, Medrite-XL provides secretaries with unparalleled productivity tools for faster report completion. Upon report approval by a cardiologist, MedRouter handles the automatic distribution of final reports to referring physicians at affiliate hospitals, whether by fax, e-mail or both, as per criteria customizable by author, work type, department or facility.

Finally, custom HL7 interfaces allow demographics to be seamlessly imported from the group's practice management system directly into Medrite-XL for increased data reliability.
