Crescendo Expands Digital Dictation Across the Cornwall Counties
Sunbury-on-Thames, UK – November 18th 2009 - Cornwall County Council, who recently merged with the district councils of Truro, St Austell, Penzance and Camborne, have expanded Crescendo’s Digital Dictation across their entire network, now known as Cornwall Council. The initial system which was installed at the County offices, had a positive impact on turnaround times of client documents and enhanced the tracking of pending and urgent letters. With the system now expanded across 6 offices, fee-earners from any location can move between the districts to assist with the councils legal matters, whilst being able to choose the correct typing resource to ensure a speedy turnaround of urgent letters. Using a combination of mobile dictation units, web upload and control facilities, the legal team now have access to their work in progress from virtually anywhere. In addition, typing resources can now be shared across offices to eliminate backlogs cause by holidays or sickness.
