Crescendo announces integration with iSoft’s Premiere Synergy – a leader in GP surgeries clinical records system across the UK.

Sunbury-on-Thames, United Kingdom – April 6th, 2009 - Crescendo Systems announces integration with iSoft’s Premiere Synergy, the clinical records system which is being used by a large number of GP surgeries across the UK. This extension to Crescendo’s wide range of integration modules, proves again why Crescendo is becoming the UK’s preferred choice for digital dictation and transcription needs.

By integrating with Synergy at the user’s desktop, Crescendo’s advanced DigiDictate & DigiPlayer applications can now pull and push Synergy patient demographics, eliminating the need for duplicate data input and unnecessary application switching.

The new “one click” integration method will automatically start a new patient dictation and populate the patient name, date of birth and NHS number within the voice file. This provides detailed and accurate information for the transcriptionists to locate and transcribe patient letters. With an embedded link in each dictation to the originating patient record, there is no longer any need for manually looking up the patient in Synergy. Even when editing or re-transcribing previously created or typed dictations, the Crescendo applications will automatically locate the corresponding patient to save valuable dictation and transcription time.
