Web Developer - Part-time (2 days/week)

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will manage web projects, from conceptualization and planning to production, integration and quality control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(Other duties may also be assigned.)
  • Conceive and deliver web solutions / promotional tools upon request, to address specific business requirements (i.e.: reseller locator, shopping cart, online form, newsletter, etc.)
  • Manage web projects, from conceptualization and planning to production, integration and quality control.
  • Maintain and update corporate web site, intranet and promotional tools
  • Create HTML pages
  • Program PHP functionalities
  • Manage My SQL database
  • Ensure regular backup of all web data

Qualifications

Essential:

  • PHP - My SQL
  • Javascript, XML HTTP Request
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Solid knowledge of the W3C's norms and standards
  • Solid knowledge of the technical specifications and differences between the main web browsers
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and will be resourceful and detail-oriented.
  • The candidate will be a team player who can adapt quickly and work well in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • ASP
  • IIS, Windows Server

Education / Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science and/or web development
  • 2 years experience in website design, development and maintenance
  • Portfolio of previous achievements required
  • Bilingual (French & English)
