Technical Translator / Communicator

Corporate Headquarters - Laval, QC

The ideal candidate must be capable of translating existing user documentation and marketing documents from English to French. He/she will have to review and analyze technical documents in order to create, write, revise and/or update various types of user manuals and online help files. His/her responsibilities will also involve working closely with Developers and Managers as well as the Marketing, Quality Assurance, Technical Support and Sales departments.

Expertise required

  • Excellent French and English writing skills
  • Experience in English to French Translation of Software application manuals and marketing documentation
  • Computer Proficiency with MS Word, Adobe FrameMaker and RoboHelp
  • Formal training/degree in Translation and/or Technical writing
  • Fluently bilingual French and English
