Intermediate Technical Support Specialist

The Intermediate Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing first line support on Crescendo software applications for all incoming technical calls from our customers.
- Enhancing customer contact problem/resolution tracking by logging all support calls and providing feedback to management.
- Enhancing customer relationships through consistent and timely technical support and escalation policies.
- Following policies, procedures, and performance standards for technical support.
- Interacting with clients for installation and training for Crescendo products at various locations.

Technical expertise required
Essential:
- Three to five years experience in software application support.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Customer Service and or support help desk environment.
- Experience in installing and configuring MS Windows 2000 & XP operating systems TCP/IP networking
- Experience using a known call tracking software.
Asset:
- Software installation and support for applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and SQL.
Education / Experience
- DEC in computer science or equivalent.
- Proven track record in dealing with large clients.
- Bilingual French & English
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a multi-tasking fast paced environment.
