Intermediate Technical Support Specialist

The Intermediate Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for:
  • Providing first line support on Crescendo software applications for all incoming technical calls from our customers.
  • Enhancing customer contact problem/resolution tracking by logging all support calls and providing feedback to management.
  • Enhancing customer relationships through consistent and timely technical support and escalation policies.
  • Following policies, procedures, and performance standards for technical support.
  • Interacting with clients for installation and training for Crescendo products at various locations.

Technical expertise required

Essential:

  • Three to five years experience in software application support.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Customer Service and or support help desk environment.
  • Experience in installing and configuring MS Windows 2000 & XP operating systems TCP/IP networking
  • Experience using a known call tracking software.

Asset:

  • Software installation and support for applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and SQL.

Education / Experience

  • DEC in computer science or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in dealing with large clients.
  • Bilingual French & English
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a multi-tasking fast paced environment.
