The firm can work with any dictation system used by its clients, since DigiScribe-XL is able to convert voice files to any format. Furthermore, interfacing with clients' networks and receiving HL7 demographics is extremely easy thanks to the HL7 bidirectional interfaces custom-designed by Crescendo for Metro clients' specific applications.

"On the transcription side, MedRite-XL is extremely easy to use for our staff, who are especially fond of the automated template functionality that allows them to set up the correct template tailored to each report type, author, facility or any other criteria defined by the client", underlines Goldberg. "With MedRite-XL, everything is automated down to the slightest details. This is also true for the distribution, billing and payroll functions, which are highly automated and streamlined." While billing can be set at numerous levels (by report type, author, etc.), count and pay factors can also be defined for each Transcriptionist based on multiple criteria. "When everything is so seamless, that is when you really see the cost-savings", says Goldberg.
